Senior Accountant-Cost/Inventory

Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in California. This is a 100% onsite position, perfect for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to make an immediate impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of working with ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage cost accounting and inventory control to support financial accuracy and business operations.
• Utilize Sage Intacct or a comparable ERP system to maintain accurate financial data and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide insights to management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance accounting processes.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies to support business growth.
• Ensure all financial activities align with legal regulations and company objectives.
• Available to start immediately and ready to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Requirements:

• Strong educational background in accounting or related field.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or other ERP systems preferred.
• Proven track record in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with cost accounting and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and management.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Available to work onsite in California immediately

Monday to Friday

Benefits:

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
